“MS Move” is a community base physical activity program aims to help people with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS in our community.
MS is a disease of the central nervous system – it may affect the brain, spinal cord and/or optic nerve.
It’s a very variable condition, and everyone with MS has a different set of symptoms, depending on which areas of the central nervous system have been affected. These conditions are known to be very painful in some sufferers.
“MS Move” purpose is to give opportunity to those people, to manage their physical and emotional conditions to improve their quality of life.

A professional artist will work with participants to create personal three-dimensional art objects, based on the concept of the ancient palimpsests where new layers of experiences are superimposed over the past, but still bearing visible traces of that past. This method is useful to explore the many components of identity, the shifts and newer experiences of being part of Fairfield’s community.
The project will include the participation of the families in the final creative stage as a way to enrich and facilitate the process of bringing together the different aspects of being Australian today.

- Women Rise Up – “Emotionally Healthy Woman” by Geri and Peter Scazzero
Facilitator: Marta Faggiano
Friday: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (from 14/10/2016)
The journey to emotional health begins by quitting. When you quit those things that are damaging to your soul or the souls of others, you are freed up to choose other ways of being and relating that are rooted in love and lead to life. When you quit for the right reasons, at the right time, and in the right way, you’re on the path not only to emotional health, but also to the true purpose of your life.
