MS Moves

MS Moves

MS Moves is a community based physical activity program that aims to help people with Multiple Sclerosis.
MS is a disease of the central nervous system – it can affect the brain, spinal cord and/or optic nerve.
It is a variable condition with MS sufferers experiencing different types of symptoms, depending on which areas of the central nervous system have been affected.
This program assists people in vital areas such as coordination, balance and diet to help reduce the number of complications related to MS, such as muscle stiffness, lack of mobility and bladder problems.
The program also helps sufferers cope with the mental stress caused by the disease, teaching people how to deal with their emotional state to better manage their MS.
CASA is deeply proud to have the initiative of this program helping people with MS and improving their quality of life.
